Grant Guidelines

Grant distributions will be made once a year before the end of each fiscal year, ending June 30th.

  • Grant requests for each year are due by April 30th.
  • The foundation may make inquiries and will formally respond prior to June 15th of each year.
  • Grants will not be provided for capital projects or endowments.
  • Supporting organizations will not qualify.
  • Typical grants are made in the $5,000 to $35,000 range.

Please attach the following documents and provide in one mailed copy of the following information:
  • Name of the organization requesting the grant.
  • Description of grant and statement of purpose.
  • How does the request meet the Mission of the Wockner Foundation?
    • How will it specifically be measured in the defined geographic territory?
  • Provide a budget for how the funds are to be expended.
  • Provide a list of last year’s grants from other foundations, trusts, and corporations.
  • Provide documentation of qualified 501(c)(3) status and also for a qualified.
  • Grantee from a private foundation if not provided in last 2 years.
